“Did you design my T-shirt”
“No”
“What have you been working on then?”
“I was getting the code right for the new face of my blog”
“Didn’t you just finish it a couple of days ago?”
“Yea… It was a bad design and I didn’t like they way the content was presented. I needed a stronger layout!”
I had launched this very recently when I decided that the design was not working. It erked me in a couple of different ways. This design will have much more longevity and I can now focus on writing great tutorials and content.
Also, I would highly suggest anyone who is reading this to go and read this article. Tom Ross wrote up a great article!
P.S. My wife gets full credit for her pushing me to fix the design! Thanks babe!
Thanks for the link Josh! And I really do love your sites design (especially the awesome header graphic). I should point out though that your subscribe area is jutting out right – leaving a gap between the menu and this area and pushing into your background. I’m viewing the site using Safari.
I like this design, it’s simple but…refreshing :)
Thanks Kieran!
