Twitter Badge Fixed

Twitter is a great web app with many stability issues. Regardless, I am still a big fan.

Twitter previously provided their users with the ability to include flash powered badges on their websites. I was using that badge until twitter killed that service to stay afloat. Since then I have been meaning to replace the flash based badge with a javascript version. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the time to do so until now. Sorry to everyone who had to see this site with a big empty block on the left column!

It’s still a little broken. The text is flowing out of the bottom of the blue ‘Twitter Updates’ box (FF3/Mac). overflow:hidden on #twitter_div maybe? I’m loving your design however.

Add your comment. Preview then submit (this function stops all spam, even if it adds an extra step).
